+mark Comfy Cozy Home Fragrance Diffuser Oil- This is a first for mark, and a very cool first at that. Right now there is only one scent available, but it's prefect for the holidays "Vanilla Snow". These diffusers are are compact and perfect for any room. Comfy Cozy doesn't use reeds like a lot of other room diffusers, it uses a flower shaped topper with a wick running into the bottle. The scent is light and warm without being overpowering. Fragrance oil diffuses the scents of brown sugar, roasted chestnuts and vanilla, and you get two bottles with two diffusers. +mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette- At first I wasn't very interested in this item but this palette has become my personal favourite in the e-boutique right now. This palette has 9 shades in a blendable cream-to-powder formula that smooths over your skin and eyelids perfectly. You can use these colours on eyelids or as an allover shimmer for radiant skin. Touch and Glow has luminous shades of pink, gold, and bronze that you can apply with a sweep of a brush or a fingertip dab. I also like to add a small dab of colour over my lip gloss for a shimmery finish. I love the look of these shades on my skin. -mark Sophistique Give Me a Ring Solid Frangrance Ring- This is one item that I cannot put on my favourites list. On the website it looks nice enough, a nice shape, with a pretty finish as the ring top, but in person this ring is HUGE. It is definitely too big for me and my style. The solid fragrance inside is excellent, and I love the scent, but the delivery falls short from perfect for me. If you don't mind gigantic jewelry then you will enjoy this ring. The solid fragrance inside holds the scent for a long time and isn't greasy when you apply it. It's a nice item to have in your bag if you don't want to wear the ring, or don't want to chance a liquid perfume leaking into your purse- but for a nice hand piece, definitely not my favourite. And Wouldn't you believe that Sephora is selling a similar ring Juicy Couture, for 42$!! Crazy! I can only imagine how gigantic this ring is, not to mention how over-priced. If you're going to to buy yourself a perfume ring, I think your best bet is with mark.

Friday night was a perfect night for a party!









13 lovely ladies showed up to get the latest looks from mark, and had a great time trying on clothes, and jewelry, handling all the hottest bags and putting on new makeup and skin care products. We didn't have much time to take photos of everyone- here are the early birds!
















We had a full spread on the table and a little fashion corner for clothing thanks to the mark Trunk Show.












The mannequins gave us a few clothing options to try out.









On the downside, our website gave everyone problems :( but we were able to overcome that issue and everything ordered is already in shipping. Orders should be arriving in no time! In the meantime, everyone got to leave with a fun little bag of goodies to try out at home.

We will be having a Trunk show, which means we'll be showing all of mark's latest fashion items and hot makeups! Everything at the party will be a 'tester' so everything can be tried on, handled and played with.

Hosting a mark party gets you and your friends all kinds of free and discounted items, teaches you new makeup trends and tricks, and gives you a chance to touch and inspect all the items on the website you weren't sure if you wanted to own or not. It's the best way to find the product that's right for you.

After the party, I'll post some pictures of the party-goers and announce Raffle Winners! Raffles are just one more way to win free items and goodies!

New stuff for Fall!

Starting out the fall season with a bang, I'm reviewing; Celebrate Shimmer Powder Brush, Celebrate Eau de Toilette, Great Energy Multi-Wear Scent Booster (and Feeling Calm Scent Booster), Clean Up Time Conditioning Bath Soap, Put a Lid on It, and Seeing Stripes EyeColour Trio. There are also some great deals so read closely!

+mark Celebrate Shimmer Powder Brush- This brush was the first of the new mark items I purchased this season- I was interested in the scented powder versus plain shimmer powder, but honestly I'm a torn on how I feel about it. On one hand I really like the scent, and I like wearing loose powder, so this should be a home run- however, I'm not thrilled about the final product. The powder really doesn't hold much scent unless you reapply over and over and over; also, the filter holes in the brush don't seem wide enough, so barely any powder comes through into the brush. My biggest problem with this brush is that it is constantly shedding bristles. Every time I use this brush, dozens more bristles shed out.

Having used both this Shimmer brush and one other, I know that if I were going to get a loose powder brush, I would instead buy the mark Twinklebelle (which unfortunately is now only available to Reps. If you are interested in this product let me know FAST) pearlized powder brush. I really love the Twinklebelle, and was hoping that the Celebrate Shimmer would be the same, but sadly it is not. +mark Celebrate Eau de Toilette- This new perfume has a fruity base of citrus petals, mirabelle plum, and a floral bouquet of star jasmine, and spring muguet. In short, this fragrance smells fantastic. To me this is a soft, light smell that fits any occasion. My only complaint is that the scent doesn't linger long enough. Definitely an excellent buy that may beat out my current perfume. If you're not sure about committing to this scent, let me know I can send you a sample. Find Celebrate here.

+mark Great Energy Multi-Wear Scent Booster and Feeling Calm Scent Booster- Let me begin by saying, I bought both of these scent boosters. Both are formulated with Fair Trade Certified ingredients, and both hydrate and condition skin while you're wearing them. I'm going to talk about my favourite scent first: Feeling Calm. Feeling Calm has a more woodsy garden type of smell and is super soothing. Olive oil and chamomile are blended together to make the base of this scent with lavender, vanilla and cardamom to create a soothing, calming scent. I love this smell, and luckily it sticks with you for a while after application. Pick up Feeling Calm Scent Booster

Great Energy Scent Booster is another excellent smell, also formulated with Fair Trade Certified ingredients. Olive oil is the base for this scent, paired with peppermint; the light fragrances of lemongrass, mandarin and ginger finish off the booster to condition the skin and stimulate the senses. Smelling this immediately makes me think of springtime and early summer. It's an excellent choice for waking up out of morning blues. You can pick up Great Energy Scent Booster here.

Both of these scents are fantastic to wear alone on pulse points, or mixed with your lotion of choice. I've tried mixing it with a few mark lotions, and the best match so far is with mark Relief Effort. Take a few fingers full of lotion and add 3-4 drops of scent boost, mix and apply to skin for an all-over moisturizing scent extravaganza! +mark Clean Up Time Conditioning Bath Soaps-I'm officially in trouble now that mark makes bar soap- I've already purchased 6 bars. Another one of mark's Body Care that Cares products, this soap is made with Fair Trade Certified ingredients: cocoa butter, shea butter, and white tea extract (The current scent is Great Energy so it is a perfect pair with the Great Energy Scent Booster). Since it's a conditioning soap, it leaves skin soft, clean and comforted, which is really nice with cool weather and chapped hands looming in the

distance. Right now I have this soap in both of our bathrooms and soon to be in the kitchen sink- I love it. I love that it keeps your skin soft but not oily, and that it lathers up as soon as you roll it over your hands. There is no slimy residue on your hands or the sink after you wash up. I really hope that they add the Feeling Calm scent to their soaps, because I LOVE this product. (PS it comes in a set of three!) Get your Clean Up Time soap here.

+mark Put a Lid on It Hat- I'm not a big hat person, but I'm digging this hat. I like the shape and style of Put a Lid on It, and that the brim isn't super imposing. You can do what you need to do during the day with adequate shade from just the little brim, and the tweed is pretty cozy for a fall hat. Also, don't let the frumpy model in the photo fool you, it's actually a pretty nice looking hat on anyone. It comes in two tweeds so if you don't like grey, you're in luck! Get yours here.

+mark Seeing Stripes Eye Colour Trio- These are a limited edition shadow collection! Seeing Stripes is perfect for travel or a back-up shadow in your bag. Each shadow square comes with three complementary shades to mix and match, or blend together to make your own look. You can come up with at least seven different looks with just one little square- and there are four colour combos to choose from. Summer is here, get ready for hot days and hot deals!

Today I'm reviewing: Shimmer Glossblossom Ripening Lip Tint, Winkstick Hook Up for Eyes, Shine Fighter Oil-Control Mask, Calm Yourself Hydrating Mask, A Spray We Go, Citrus Bloom Body Lotion, Break Out Plan Anti-Acne Gel Lotion, Back Me Up Anti-Acne Back Treatment Liquid Spray, Blemish Banisher Anti-Acne Treatment Pads some sneak peeks, and a deal!

+Shimmer Glossblossom Ripening Lip Tint- This is a nice, sneaky gloss. It's a tinted lip gloss that slowly develops into a high-shine colour with a little pink and gold shimmer. I say sneaky, becasue the colour seems to creep up on you. I like this gloss because once the shimmer wears off the color stays on a whlie longer. You can layer this gloss on during the day to intensifiy the the color without looking overly made-up. There is a light berry frangrance but it's very faint and doesn't linger. Glossblossom is great if you want a subtle shimmery color and don't like wearing a lipstick. The only downside is that this gloss comes in a tube, rather than a hook-up, so it's not as purse-friendly as some of the other glosses. Aside from that one downer, I think Glossblossom is a fantastic gloss that gives you a nice natural pink, healthy lip colour. Order yours here.

+Winkstick Hook Up for Eyes- Winksticks are an ultra creamy eye shadow that comes in a stick hook-up. These hook-ups are a little different from the Mini mark It Sticks (super soft colour pencil). Winksticks are a much creamier shadow that glides on smoothly and provides a lasting shimmer without being so creamy that it gets clumpy or mushy. These sticks are great because the cream colour lasts a long time without creasing or fading to nothing; and if you've applied too much you can easily spread it across your eyelid without it pulling your eyelid skin. +mark Shine Fighter Oil-Control Mask- This mask is awesome! I'd never really had any luck with masks before, either they dry out my face, or make me breakout, or burn; this shine fighter mask is easily one of the best masks I've ever tried. The Shine Fighter Mask is an "intense" purifying mask that contains kaolin, an oil absorbing clay, and apricot which is rich in vitamins A and C. Both of these natural ingredients protect the skin from environmental damage and help fight shine all day. If you have oily skin, Shine Fighter will really change your face. Immediately after using this I noticed a difference in my skin- I'm hooked. Definitely a must-have for those of us with oily skin. Get yours here.

+mark Calm Yourself Hydrating Mask- Another great mask! Calm yourself is a gel mask meant to increase moisture and smooth and even skin tone (mark says this gel mask immediately increases skin's moisture by 168%). As soon as you put this mask on your face, you feel a soothing, cooling sensation all over your skin. It contains five different "super-smoothers" sea moss, wheat germ, cucumber extract, aloe vera and green tea, as well as antioxidant rich lemon extract and orange extract to imporve your skin tone in as little as one use. Calm yourself works in under five minutes and leaves your face feeling so smooth and gorgeous you won't believe it. I was worried that it would burn or sting my skin while it was on (especially being a gel), but it was so cooling and refreshing. +A Spray We Go Hook Up Frangrance- Best hook up ever! With this hook up you can take your favourite mark frangrance, or frangrances, with you. You can hook this to any of your other hook ups, lip sticks, eyeshadows, etc and through it in your purse for a quick scent pick-me-up. I love it. +mark Citrus Bloom Body Lotion- If you like the Citrus Bloom frangrance, the body lotion is a must have. This is a lightweight moisturizer with a hint of Citrus Bloom. This lotion absorbs quickly and is really smooth and light, so you don't feel sticky or greasy when you wear it. You can wear it under Citrus Bloom frangrance mist to extend the life of your scent. The Citrus Bloom scent is such a fantastic summery smell with a mixture of green mango, mandarin, lemon, orange flower, honeysuckle and jasmine. +mark Break Out Plan Anti-Acne Gel Lotion- A brand new anti-acne lotion that is fantastic! Break Out Plan is different from your average anti-acne lotion because it contains apple and cinnamin extracts to reduce the appearance of redness casued by acne. These ingredients, combined with 1.5% Salicyclic acid keeps your pores clear and also treats existing blemishes and blackheads while preventing new ones. Because Break Out Plan contains salicyclic acid, it may dry out your skin a bit, but I've found you can put your usual nighttime moisturizer on over your anti-acne cream and that seems to solve the problem. If you have acne-prone skin, Break Out Plan is a must have. Order here.

+mark Back Me Up Anti-Acne Back Treatment Liquid Spray- I haven't tried this one yet, sorry folks. I have sold a few though, so as soon as I get some feedback I can let you know what people think. This spray, just like the anti-acne gel, has apple and cinnamon extracts as well as 2% salicylic acid. This is a quick-absorbing spray that targets "bacne" to keep pores clean and clear. It treats existing back blemishes and prevents new from forming. The gel works really well, so I have high hopes or this spray. Be the first to reveiw this product, and purchase here.

+mark Blemish Banisher Anti-Acne Treatment Pads- Great buy! I've used other pads in the past (stridex, oxy), and none of them can compare. These pads literally work overnight to stop breakouts and keep skin clear. Blemish Banisher pads, like the other two anti acne treatments have apple and cinnamon extracts to soothe skin, and have a 1% salicyclic acid. Treatment pads even work if you haven't washed your face before using. I use these pads every night with my nighttime routine. Love them! Buy yours here.
