Destination Rio!

First off, the new megalog is out, and great new things are in for the bikini season! The newest collection, inspired by Carlos Falchi is like a breath of fresh sea air. Today I'm reviewing Glowdacious Illuminating Powder, Speedway Do Everything Makeup, Please Hold Eye Primer, Mini mark It Stick, Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner and Eyeshadow, and Self Sanctuary Lemon Sugar body scents.


+Glowdacious Illuminating Powder- This powder is fantastic, especially for the sunny days we've been having lately. Glowdacious Powder is a multicolor powder that has bronzer and highlighter tones for a shimmery golden glow. This compact has three shades that you can combine into an all over illuminating powder that brightens your face and can enhance your tan. I like to wear this powder over Get a Tint Moisterizing Lotion for a nice shimmer over my moisturizer; you can also use Glowdacious on your neck and shoulders for an all over shimmer. I really like that this powder has three shades so depending on how you mix it, it can be a little lighter or darker to suit your daily look. What I love about this shimmer is that it's not over the top glittery, it's just a nice bronzer with a little shimmer, and it's also super smooth powder that makes your skin feel silky. Order here.


+Speedway Do Everything Makeup- Speedway is like a foundation stick, coverup stick and cream to powder concealer all in one. This stick is fantastic for evening skin tone and covering up trouble spots, acne, redness, and anything else your skin can come up with. Speedway is a lightweight cream-to-powder mini stick that you can carry in any bag. It's great for covering up sudden breakouts and redness, and you can keep it anywhere. It goes on smoothly and doesn't crease under your eyes, or buildup on your skin. The only problem with this stick is it's way too small, the tube is about half the size I was expecting. Aside from that, Speedway really is a do everything makeup and totally worth checking out. Order here.

+Please Hold Eye Primer- Please Hold is one of my new favorite items- it primes your eyelids for shadows and liners and it conceals dark circles. This primer helps your makeup last longer, stay fresh looking and helps prevent creasing. With this oil free cream you can cover up dark spots and smooth eye puffiness. I immediately noticed a difference in the wear life of my eye shadows once I started using this product. Please Hold is also great to wear on its own with just a simple liner or even mascara, it gives your eyes a natural even tone without looking washed out. Get yours here.



+Mini mark It Stick Hook Up Stick for Eyes- It Sticks are IT! These are fantastic little hook ups that you can bring with you anywhere. I have two in my purse in case I forget to put on makeup when I'm running late. These pencils are super soft shades that glide over your eyelids or lash lines and stay on for hours. It Sticks come in 8 shades, 4 with shimmer and 4 without. I have one of each- one without shimmer for my liner and one with shimmer for the corners of my eyes for a nice pop. Order here.




+ Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner and Shadow- Definitely does it's name justice! Keep It Going is the longest lasting eyeshadow and liner I have ever used. Inside the compact are two multi-use shades that are gel-based (instead of pressed powder) and buildable for extra intensity. If you put this shadow on in the morning, it will absolutely be there until you are washing your face before bed. Eventhough Keep It Going is gel-based you would never know, it goes on just like pressed powder and doesn't clump up the way you'd suspect. I love the way this shadow goes on, and that you can have it as subtle or intense as you want simply by reapplying. I own two out of the four compacts so far and am waiting for my third to arrive. I suggest purchasing the Flat Eyeliner Brush for flawless application. The Flat brush is perfect for drawing a precise line on the eyelid, and for smudging or blending liners and shadows on the lid. +Self Sanctuary Lemon Sugar Shower Wash- A while back, Bath and Body works put out this body wash that smelled like lemon meringue, and then stopped selling it. This body wash smells exactly like lemon meringue pie and is half the price of what you're getting at a specialty store. This pearlized formula leaves your skin silky soft and smelling sweet and light. Self Sanctuary makes a rich creamy lather in the shower, and fills the whole room with scent for a little private taste of heaven. I bought my first bottle and loved it so much I bought four more- you may end up doing the same. To freshen your skin and scent during the day mark also makes a scent mist that you can keep at your desk or in your purse for a quick pick me up. Here are another bunch of reviews for all of you! Today I'm looking at cheekblossom cheek color tint, juice gems flavored high-shine gloss, get in line hook up liquid eyeliner, totally balmed SPF 15 tinted lip balm, and the mark Have a Heart bracelet.

+mark Cheekblossom cheek color tint- I really like this blush. I’m not good at applying blush with a brush; I always end up looking super pale, with a bright red line of blush on my cheekbones. I love this blush because first off, it’s not a powder, it’s a gel that you rub into your cheeks. Cheekblossom reacts with your skin’s chemistry to give you a unique blush color that is all your own. It isn’t greasy or heavy, and once you’ve applied it, it just smoothes into nothing on your cheeks. It leaves a nice flush to your cheeks without looking clownish or over the top. I do think it’s too mild to be seen on top of Get a Tint tinted moisturizing lotion, but on top of a powder, or a clean moisturized natural face it’s perfect. Definitely a great buy. +mark Juice Gems flavored high-shine gloss- I’m not a huge fan of flavored lip glosses, however, being a mark lip gloss made up for the flavoring. As just a gloss, I really love Juice Gems. They have a high shine with ten great shades to choose from, and it applies smoothly over your lips. Since Juice Gems are made with real fruit extract the flavoring is pretty close to the actual flavor it’s labeled as. I purchased

Mango Tango and Juicy Pomegranate, and they taste close enough to the flavor for me to continue wearing, but because they do have a flavor I’ll probably only keep one or two in my collection. If you like flavored glosses I’d definitely recommend this product. You get a great gloss for your money, and the gloss stays smooth, it doesn’t get gloppy on your lips as you wear it. +mark Get in Line hook up liquid waterproof eyeliner- I used to wear very expensive thin-line brush eyeliner from Sephora- not anymore! I am completely hooked on ‘Get in Line’ waterproof liner, and Eye Glam hook up eyeliner. As soon as I saw this liner in the mark store, I wanted to get my hands on it. The brush is super thin and fine, so the liner applies so smoothly it’s unbelievable. Get in Line lasts all day without smearing or smudging and it makes such a

precise line you’ll never want to use anything else. The waterproof liner comes in four great colours, not just black and brown (I recommend the violet, it’s gorgeous!). If you want something a little more flashy check out mark Metalliner Hook up Eye Glam, super metallic shine in three great colors (I love the quick silver, it goes great with all my eyeshadows). If you’re looking for a long lasting liner in a great color, check out Get in Line waterproof liner, and Metalliner Eye Glam.

+mark Totally Balmed SPF 15 tinted lip balm- This lip balm is perfect to carry with you anywhere! It’s not a hook-up, so you’re getting a full sized lip balm, about the size of a chap stick or other stick balm, that you can throw in your bag for application any time of the day. Totally balmed comes in four great colors and all of them are antioxidant-rich and have more of a lipstick feel, than a balm or gloss. They apply like a creamy lipstick and are full of moisturizing vitamins, as well as SPF 15 for protection against UVA and UVB rays. I purchased Totally Sweet and Totally Bare and both are fantastic. I also really like that they have a tiny bit of a mint flavor, just enough to give your lips a little tingling feeling when you first apply.
